In early 2026, Casiola — an international vacation rental management company — took over Huswell's core operations and team. We want to be open about what happened, what it means for you, and what you can expect next.
What happened
Huswell grew quickly over the past few years. That growth, and the investment behind it, eventually created financial pressure that the business couldn't carry on its own. Rather than let that disruption fall on the owners and guests who rely on us, Casiola stepped in to keep operations running and to give the people behind Huswell a stable footing to keep doing their work.
It's an honest reset — and a chance to rebuild on stronger foundations.
Who is Casiola
Casiola has managed vacation homes since 2014, with a team of 125+ people and properties across more than ten destinations including Spain, the United States, Dubai and Aruba. It has been profitable since day one and built its reputation on a simple principle: look after owners properly, and the rest follows.
For Huswell, that means the hands-on service you know, now backed by deeper resources, proven systems and a partner that's in this for the long term.
What this means for owners
Our focus is continuity and clear communication:
- The same day-to-day management — listings, bookings, guest support and payouts — continues, now on Casiola's platform.
- Payouts move to a predictable, transparent schedule.
